Finally some new art ... and a journal theme!

I have been  getting some art done this past week. I finished a set of 15 Marie Antionette ATCs for Paula's Kit Club swap.  I drew Marie  and totally got the idea from a painting my friend Julie Molina sent me.  Thanks for the inspiration , Julie!   The book cover is for a new journal round robin based on the True Colors book.  I used beeswax on the cover as a final step.  I am working on a few sewing projects that I will share when I finish.  On a nerdy note, my friends from work are planning to go see the American Idol tour in July.  A group of 15 women are going together- woohoo! Good nerdy fun!  Hmmm... maybe we can get a limo.
What are you looking forward to in the near future?  Any fun vacation plans, going to the beach,
getting together with special friends?  This week journal about  something you can't wait to do!

Beautiful creative blog! I discovered you while wandering around the blogosphere meeting new blogging friends . .. . I love your collage art ;o) I also do journals, but I do mostly fiber art so my journals have all kinds of crazy quilt patch piecing with lots and lots of embellishments on the covers. Can never have too many beautiful journals! nina @ mamas*little*treasures
