When I go to Paris...

Here are two pieces I made this week that coincide with Helga's new challenge , Celebrate Paris,on her blog,

My ARTistic Life. What will I do when I get to Paris? I will see lots of the art that I have studied and admired! I will visit the Eiffel Tower and soak up the city lights at night! I will have a blast shopping, eating, and being a total nerdy tourist!

I don't want to be a local ... then I'd have to get a job instead of going to museums, shops, restaurants and cabarets!

I often wonder if Parisinnes are as blind to their city as we in America often are of our own. I spent many years living in New York City - and I have STILL never seen the Statue of Liberty nor been to the top of the Empire State Building!; March 29, 2009 at 1:49 PM
