some things I did this weekend...

Does this look like a fun table or what?????

Here we are in Julie's rockin' studio! In the back row it's Sera, Beth, Jen, Audra, and Tally!
The front row is Kelly, Ruth, Julie, Peggy and Mary! It was a true ordeal setting up the timer to get ALL of us in one photo. The cocktails we'd been sipping may have contributed to the difficulty factor.  We had such a rip roarin' time together, eating, laughing and making art.  Big Kudos to our hostess with the mostest, Julie!!!!!

Saturday Slumber ART PARTY!!!!!

I made this little wall-hanging for a little girl who was in my class last year. She invited me to her birthday party and I can't go because I'm goin' to an ART PARTY !!! So, I hope she likes it and will want to hang it up in her room. My art bud, Julie, is hosting another awesome art party at her beautiful home.  This time my stepdaughter, Sera, is able to go with me.  It is so much fun to hang out with my art friends, eating, drinking, and doing art together until the wee hours! I am extra excited because Peggy is flying down, Beth is giving herself a little art break from mommyhood, Kelly, Tally and Mary will be adding their  magic to the mix.  I will be sure to post pics of the shenanigans!

A New Slew of ATCs...

Here come the boys! I use way more girls and women in my art, so I made an effort to
make a few ATCs featuring little boys!

Butterfly Wings and Mona...

The larger fairy girl is from Lisa's Altered Arts and the little fairy is  ARTchix faux fairy post.
The backgrounds are handmade watercolor paper with Neocolor crayons and various stamped designs.  I am still loving my white gel pen for the finishing touches.

After cutting out my images  from sticker paper, I used the backing paper as a mask on my backgrounds. I painted the middle ones and added the faces and wings.
